Sarah Warwick is a British photographer with a passion for motorsport, focussed on the cars, teams and drivers.
Sarah has worked with Carlin since 2007, they say this about her work:
“ Motor Racing is the ultimate example of man and machine working together. Behind the scenes, race teams put in countless hours – engineering, developing and maintaining race cars for just a few hours of glory on track. Racing drivers invest their time, money and ultimately their lives chasing victory. Sarah’s photography can convey this in an instant. Rather than just taking image after image of race cars going around a race track, Sarah’s photographs perfectly depict the beauty of the sport, the frustration and emotions that run underneath the surface. Her photographs, particularly those in black and white are some of the most telling images you will see of the sport.”
Sarah’s photographs cannot only be seen the website of multiple Formula 3 Champions Carlin, but on websites of young drivers around the world who recognise her unique ability.
During the winter months when there is no motor racing in the UK Sarah decided to revive an old skill and create paintings and drawings of some of her favourite photographs. Most of Sarah’s paintings find a home. What could be a better souvenir of a young race driver’s time in a junior series than one of these unique paintings. This is reflected in the reaction to the paintings, with team members, drivers and others joining the queue to acquire one
